Slaters try doubles Rds 1,2,3 & ? (spoiler)

OK so theyre making a big deal out of Slaters possible try doubles in the first four rounds....has one already in the first half rd 4 against roosters currently.

Great effort regardless if he gets it or not.

How many times have players gotten doubles in the first THREE rounds....mustve been at least twice...Slater himself and someone else.

The last time any one scored 4 doubles in a row was Jarryd Hayne in 2006. I don't have the completeness of data to be able to say what the alltime record is. Given sufficient time, some educated guesses could be made though.

Robbie Ross 1999, and Steve Renouf 1997 are the only two others I can be reasonably sure of. None of them from the start.
