Slim Fit NRL Jerseys

As the end of the season approaches many clubs and retailers will be having massive discounts to 2015 NRL gear to clear stock. What I want to know is do teams have regular fit and slim fit jerseys?

The reason I ask is, I have just tried on the ISC Wests Tigers main jersey in size small and it fits well in the shoulders but is kind of baggy around the waist (am I am not super skinny). The pictures on the Tigers website showing the players modelling the jerseys make it seem like a slim fit design that tapers at the waist and it even says slim fit in the description. I don't want to go XS as it will be too tight in the shoulders.

Tigers have about 5 different jersey styles on sale, so is it possible different designs have different style cuts or does ISC's idea of slim fit vary wildly to my own. May explain the real reason the Tigers came equal last, baggy jerseys!

There is a different cut for the on field jerseys which the players wear compared to the fan jerseys they sell in stores.

The roosters sell special player jerseys for $250 which are the same as the on field jerseys (have the little grip dots and all that jazz). Tigers may do as well

Player fit ones are slim fit but have those grip blobs across the front, ISC is a strange one for sizings I'm a medium in clothing but ISC small fits perfectly.

Yeah, the player cuts are different. On the odd occasion clubs sell them as they didn't get used during the season. If you find one, make sure you're not carrying much around the gut!

Unless you're a Bulldogs fan because they will have special ones made for Kas...

So they only option is to pay $200 for a player worn jersey to get slim fit.

Crikey. Maybe I'll try the kids section!

Pfft.

Just put more weight on.

exactly. i have seen player fits at peter wynns before but not for all clubs. i've heard people say that you can buy authentic nfl ones, wonder how long it'll be before clubs here look to do it on a more regular basis

Yeah it's kind of bullshit they don't make leaner jerseys. They already cost a billion dollars more than they should, you should be able to get one that fits properly. I'm buying a jersey, not a tent.

Yeah most clubs do - and they sell them in XXXL. It's horrible.
