Once again, a small village holds power in French Rugby league. I hope the bigger towns can compete.

Yeah I agree.

I'd rather see these players joining a team like Marseilles to give them a kick start entering the LER if they decided to jump up a few divisions.

Salanque Mediterranean Pia is given how this season of his ambitions. In high places, the championship is clearly described, and in the hope of achieving their goal, leaders have strong typed in recruitment. Thus, apart from the center of Bradford Bulls, Shad Royston, and half of mixed-Cronulla Sharks, Scott Porter, who had committed several weeks here, three other Australians have just given their agreement to co- Coach Albert Benedict, freshly returned from a job-shadowing for three weeks in Sydney: Central Sydney Roosters Steve Naughton, the second line of Cronulla Sharks Broderick Wright, and the Northern Pride (Intrust Queensland Cup), Mark Cantoni.

Pia, who had to replace Neale Wyatt, Kane Bentley, Tom Kingston, William Knecht, and the young winger Diego Reynier, Reichel junior party in the USAP Perpignan, has caught the big, determined to pack the public stadium Daniel Ambert-revamped (weight room, dressing rooms in the main stand, construction of terraces covered field side annex).

Equipped with dual citizenship in Australia and Germany, it is carrying a European passport.

SCOTT PORTER , 26, 1.80 m and 87 kg, half-of-scrimmage, 22 NRL matches (13 in 2009, six in 2010, three in 2011), all as the holder in the fray, but one to the opening. Player of the Year of New South Wales Cup in 2010.

NRL debut May 30, 2009 against Parramatta.

Mark Canton , 31, 1.88 m and 98 kg, the second line of the Norths Devils (Queensland Cup). Played successively, before, Malanda Eels, Townsville Stingers, London Skolar (1 Championship, 19 trials in 18 games in 2004), and East Tigers (subject to South Sydney).

A selection with the United States in 2007 against Samoa.

LIAM CAMPBELL , 25, 1.87 m and 90 kg, center of Eastern Suburbs Tigers (Intrust Queensland Cup), reserve team Melbourne Storm. 5 tries in 18 games this year.

SHAD ROYSTON , 28, 1.86 m and 94 kg, center of Bradford Bulls. Trained at Cronulla Sharks, it can also occupy the third line positions, rear and flyhalf. He began his career in senior Batley (2004 and 2005) before joining Doncaster (2006), Halifax (2007-2010), and finally Bradford in Super League.

He scored 11 tries in 18 games with the Bulls this year, after having scored 103 in 101 games with Halifax. Top Try Scorer (30) of the Championship in 2010.

Good luck to them, maybe they can embarrass some of the 'bigger city teams' into lifting their game...

Big cities or small, having players of this calibre running around in the LER will only lift the overall standard. It will be an interesting competition this year that is for sure!
