Finch does not have a crisp passing or kicking game, his clearing kicks don't find open spaces. I think he offers next to nothing in attack for us. His passes are usually slow and he takes on the line too much and gets tackled.

Finch's strength has always been short passing in traffic

We don't run enough support players for him to be effective in that way

We dont play to the offload ability of Mateo
We dont play to the speed and stepping of Tahu
We dont play to the power of Grothe out wide
We dont play to the intercept capability of Hayne
We dont play to the ability to use the sideline of Inu
We dont play to the linebreaking of Fui
We dont play to the long cut out pass and pinpoint kicking of T Smith
We dont play to the dummy half runs of Riddell
We dont play to the high ball taking ability of B Smith
We dont play to the hit and spin of Cayless and Cordoba
We dont play to the speed of Hindy out in the flanks

We dont play to the strengths of any of our players TBH.
We dont play as team.
We DO play as 17 individuals.

100% spot on, thats the most frustrating thing. We don't play to our strengths.

2007 has a lot of twists and turns.
Don't throw your bum in the corner yet.
It ain't over till its over..
I wish you people were around in the sixties..every win was a celebration.
There were no pessimists, just realists.
Que Sera, Sera...Whatever will be will be.

Couldnt agree more - there are lots of things still to occur this year.
I am a realist and in some ways an optimist. If this 2007 side of ours can get their act together they can win the comp from 8th if needed. They just havent shown us lately that they desire it as much as we do.

GO PARRA!!!

I seriously don't care if they lose on Sunday as long as they play some good football. I can handle a loss but I can't handle them playing like a team devoid of any attacking skill.

Who would have thought Kiwi could win the Melbourne Cup when he was last coming into the straight at Flemington.

IF YOU THINK YOU CAN OR THINK YOU CAN'T
YOU ARE PROBABLY RIGHT

If you think you are beaten you are
If you think that you dare not, you don't
If you'd like to win, but you think you can't
It's almost certain you won't.

If you think you'll lose, you've lost
For out in the world you'll find,
Success begins with a blokes will
It's all in the state of mind

If you think you are outclassed you are
You've got to think high to rise
You've got to be sure of yourself before
You can ever win a prize

Life's battles don't always go
To the stronger or faster man
But sooner or later the man who wins
Is the man who THINKS he can...

Yeah but parra fans blame him for forwards not competing or players dropping the ball, how is any player supposed to have confidense when they single handedly are blamed for everything that goes wrong.

I was at that game last week and in the first half we had no ball in the Dragons in except for once or twice. If we keep making mistakes like that there is no way we can win.

Yeah, but just maybe...have you considered this....He could be the problem.
BUT it is too late to change anything at this stage of the year.
... as Gibbo used to say "We hafta dance wif them wot brung us"
We have to put our faith in him at this point of the season. He has had some great moments, but he has also had some shockers.

Does anyone remember if Timm or Finch were running the ball earlier in the year when we were scoring tries like they were going out of style???

That's the life of a pro sportsman, particuarly in a team sport when you're playing in a crucial position such as halfback in league.

This is his third season, and if his confidence gets knocked by some fans being critical of him, then he is made of pretty weak stuff.

I think we were scoring lots of tries because the team had four props and was making the metres required of a team for the halves to show what they can do...we don't have four props what happens, well we lose three in a row soon to be four.

Out of curiousity, have many any other teams had their halves (85% of the players in general aswell) booed like ours?? If i were them, i certainly wouldn't want to be playing for fans like ours!!!!

There are only a handful of players in our team that have real support of the fans. Generally though when a large majority of our team gets the ball there are people in the crowd yelling at them about how useless they are.....why players from other clubs don't won't to come to our club doesn't shock me at all!!! Our fans are the biggest joke of all!!!!

We truly have some of the most fickle fans in sport.
