For me, the only answer acceptable from Dino on that question was ‘I’m not going to even consider that possibility, as at the moment, our team are not playing well enough for it to be a consideration. Forget thinking about finals, our team need to focus 100% on being the best we can be against the Titans this week, as if we’re not at our best, we’ll get beat, and a finals berth will be even more difficult.’

Why not sell the ground back to the government and lease it back anything that needs to be done it will be for the tax payers to put the bill...

A big issue was in the past when there was criticism of the ground, there was always the hope that there would be improvements as part of the development. Well, that didn’t happen and the club has shown absolutely zero indication is has any thought of improving the ground (they clearly can’t afford it).

They need to bite the bullet and sell it, and move to the SFS. Unfortunately, they’re banking on some old school mentality that once the Leagues Club is open that it will be ok..

It’s embarrassing being a Sharks fan in 2025.

So in reality, nothing has changed! It’s in our DNA we all know it.

Even if they fix the issues with the ground, the main problem with the joint is parking…

We should be lobbying the NSW/Federal gov for a new 20 thousand seater stadium. Unfortunately what destroyed Shark park is what kept the joint alive, the redevelopment. I think the fact that they developed so close to the ground has restricted in improving the grounds amenities..or do what @Frailty suggested sell whatever we can and move to the SFS…The club will be fine, actually I prefer going to Karella because it’s closer to me.

Funnily enough I'm sure I remember that idiot Capsis saying that the development would do nothing for the ground itself and it'd be swallowed up with apartments anyway. That would have been way back around 2010-11 ish

$180 million we will never see that, Dino you are dreaming.
* Unless govt builds a boutique stadium in the region for multiple teams.
* My option sell the ground, bank that money invest it in buying property and clubs or like golf club.
* Play 9 games out the SFS, majority of people will travel to a first class venue.
* Sell other 3 games 1 is magic round, 2 well Perth will cease after 2027, we have option of Coffs, Fiji, Tas when if they get new stadium, Adelaide, also basically every 4 years Vegas, we could be bold and see if option to take a game to Saudi it will happen at some time, what a chance for us to be first

Saudi? We'd probably lose any income having to pay for security to protect the Mermaids
