If your quick send them a 1 line question to 2KY BSB, obviously the question will be screened so make it half sensible!

who ever is listening to it can they report what they hear? I'll try and do the same.

ok!

here some important points about the inteview.

1] Smith won't be leaving!

2] Witt isn't the answer at the moment, all though he's working hard on his game.

3] No falling out with Lyon

4] has respect with all the players and the feeling is reciprical

5] don't listen to Hadley, his basically on an agenda to get him sacked [thanks scoop]

6] he seems to have had some falling out with Gould because he basically he doesn't know what his thinking [thats Gould] nowadays

7] he's happy with players he's signed and let go.

So there's actually nothing wrong, or so we are supposed to believe.

I don't think so.

1] Smith won't be leaving! - Surprise, surprise, If he doesn't leave on his own accord then it's up to Fitzgerald to get rid of him

2] Witt isn't the answer at the moment, all though he's working hard on his game - Well who is the answer then? It's up to the coach to work that out and if he cannot then he's not doing his job

3] No falling out with Lyon - Of course he's going to say that, I'd like to see what Jamie Lyon has to say, expect exclusive interviews in the papers later this week

4] has respect with all the players and the feeling is reciprical - You only have to look at the attitudes of former players to see that isn't true

5] don't listen to Hadley, his basically on an agenda to get him sacked [thanks scoop] - That for one, is true

6] he seems to have had some falling out with Gould because he basically he doesn't know what his thinking [thats Gould] nowadays - As much as I hate Gould, at least he aknowledges the problems

7] he's happy with players he's signed and let go - He's happy with signing Pearson, Kateverata, Langi, Peterson, Dykes, etc yet happy he's let go Donald, Ryan, Marsh, Hindmarsh, Heckenberg, Drew, Mogg, Tonga, etc? Out the door!

This would be more convincing if it came from the players.

Please tell me the last time a coach just before being sacked said, "Yeah the players don't like me, I think I'll be getting the arse soon."

Smith has lost it. RESULTS show this not some radio interview.

Why can't he just admit it - he has no idea on how to get us back on track.

It's evident he is trying hard to, but he just doesn't seem to be able to do it.

Well, one positive arises from all of this. At least he is fighting for his coaching life, and there are moves a foot to get rid of him (even if it isn't from within the club - at least the pressure is mounting).

Slowly, surely, the tide is turning. There is no way now that Smith can see his time out inless drastic improvement is made. 3 more years of this will see Fitzgerald usurped. Sadly it will probably see us as a junior partner in a merger with Penrith :(

Let me say this...you mob amuse me
Monday critics. Run with the hares, hunt with the hounds. Members of backslappers anon. KKK members, hide behind cloth hats and issue character assasinations on the Internet
Greatest mob of wimp supporters, and I use that term loosely, EVER. If you can't stand the heat, get outta the kitchen. Go and follow the Roosters or the Bulldogs or whatever top team takes your fancy. Just go

You amuse me far more than they do. Delusional people always do. They're all pissed because the team is falling apart, they actually care.

You have no idea what a supporter is. Just because they are angry doesn't mean they're not strong supporters, they're all angry because they ARE such strong supporters.

They are the real supporters, you're a delusional tosser. See the difference?

Parra Pete is a Parra tragic.....i've heard drunk english ladys that don't talk as much shit as this spoof.

He's Brians number 1 groupie....Parra pete is easily pleased...hell i've seen him jump up & down when we have scored a try when we where 50-0 down.....it was like a full body dry heave!

Parra Pete..about time you took your tongue out of what ever animals arse your've got it in & start displaying emotion like THE MAJORITY OF PARRA SUPPORTERS who are feed up with this diabolical utter shit that our players & coach have dished up to us.

I could not speak higher enough of Brian when we where wining....but hey turning around bad sides into good signs is what sorts the good coaches out from the worst.

What about Brians experience in recruitment & retention??....not rocket science to work out that it's patheitc..when in reality this close to the most important thing a coach can do.....the most important actually.

Is it any coincidence that everyone hates Brian in the media, former players, Parra legends??......he obviously lakes communication skills and why wouldn't the current crop of players now have the same perspective on him.

Brian has done great things to Parramatta.....you cannot question that, but he's time as our coach is drawing to an end...it's unfortuante but some places do need a change.....fresh ideas & a fresh approach.

And remember that the original recruitment responsible for turning the club around was because of the super league fiasco and people like Cleal not BS himself. As the President of the club you would think that Overton would show some balls and have an opinion but it looks like the board couldn't give a rats how we look to the rest of the rugby league fraternity.

We really need to stick to facts when discussing Brian's future at Parra rather than have it turn personal.

The facts are, since 2001 we have been on a downwards spiral. Fact, despite Brian being given a free hand to purchase players for this year, there has not been a significant improvement in performance.

He is now also into his 8th year with the club, making him the longest serving coach at any NRL club with the exception of Wayne Bennett. I find it distasteful that some people appear to be taking personal enjoyment out of Brian Smith's current situation.

The fact is he's been a good coach for us for a long time and should be remembered as such. 2001 shall be remembered as the high water mark of his time with Parra, but it would also be remembered as the time when he simply ran out of fresh ideas.

I support the view that he should move on to allow fresh blood and fresh ideas at the club. This is not in any way a reflection of the man's ability to coach. There is no reason why he can't be successful at another club, just look at people like Tim Sheens and John Lang - written off after their previous failures, but have then had a new lease of life. In fact I reackon he's the coach that Souths are screaming out for.

It is my sincere hope that Brian Smith will announce that he's leaving, see out the rest of the season then walk away with his dignity intact. It would be a real shame to see him sacked.

OK, that's my 2 cents worth on the subject.

Well written, but just one point: can you actually NAME anyone who you think is enjoying Brian's predicament?

I don't think anyone is, because we all want to see Parra at it's best, not it's worst. Well, lets exclude the Smith lovers, but the rest of us are absolutely desperate for the great club to have a first grade team that will perform at the high level that the clubs god name deserves. Apart from a few wonderful months in 2001, we haven't seen that since 1986.

Ronnie, love it when you are fired up. I can imagine you turning to the coaches box and screaming to Smithy "Bring me your children, you'll burn!!!"
