All punting stories and wrap-ups here guys. Did anyone have a ridiculously good day? Stop counting the 50's for a sec and stop by and tell us about it, because that's THE best day in racing gone for another year.

There were some absolutely outstanding races today, but also others which were really hampered because of the shocking track imo. Regardless, the run by Efficient among others were very memorable indeed.

I had a pretty good day in the end. Punted half and half for most of the day - a winner here, a loser there. The Desert War pick was what really turned it around and I've finished up well in front which is fantastic (only $90-odd, but a win is a win). Got let down by Fast'n'Famous.. but that was a shocking race all up due to the track. I also decided to chase Rendzina after some great tips by a mystery tipster who I won't name. Cheers Macca :D

I ended up a bit in front.
Backed 6/9 of the winners in Melbourne
Efficient,Permaiscuois,Gold Edition,Tuesday Joy,Desert War(had a save on it as well as backing Sphenophyta) and Malcolm.
Still ended up behind in Melbourne (had a dig at Rewaaya and I'm really regretting it).
Didnt back a winner in Adelaide, nabbed a trifecta and finished in front in Sydney and got the Brisbane double which paid $102 something so came out a little in front.

I ain't giving up on her yet. She got well back then came wide in the straight. Was no chance the way the track played today.

Oh damn right - not a bad run by any stretch, plenty of good horses had SFA chance today.

Still, I've had the stuffing knocked out of me with confidence for the Oaks  Tuesday Joy won well, but it did get that gun run along the rails from a great ride. Not sure how you now lineup the ones that tried to run on down the middle of the track. Guess we'll find out on Thursday. I still have the 81's about her (now 35's) plus my double with Pop Rock for the Cup.

I had a reasonable day had 5 bets 2 collects, $40 on maybe better, and after searching for something to beat efficient and drawing a blank i had $100 on him.

$30 on anamato, $30 on sphenophya and $30 on natural destiny knocked the bank back down.

I liked efficient and think he will be a big show in the cup, Maybe Better did run 2.5 secs quicker, although efficients last 600 was pretty impressive.

I'm going to stick with the two of them in the cup.

i had a 4 leg parlay and got 1st, 1st, 1st and 2nd. collected $170. could have been $750. oh well

what about my day - backed a thing that was a dead heat but got declared a loser (don't ask me how, i've seen the photo and both noses were on the line!!!) and then backed Prosecution in the last in Brisbane, which won - only to be called a dead heat!!!!!!

Still had an alright day though courtesy of Maybe Better and Desert War. Ended up probably slightly infront
