Apparently if Saints lose any game, ever....then they are chokers, (although they won the Minor Premiership).
Titans must be chokers...
Manly must be chokers...
Knights must be chokers
What is the colloquialism for not making the eight?

Scummer??

Well parra are in the same boat. Dragons and Parra fans really have no business calling the other chokers.

We are going to have to execute a million times better. If we put anything like the performance we did against the Knights, things could get ugly. Hopefully our forward pack can establish some dominance, would go along way to winning the battle.

Wanna bet?

Think back to rd 26, the Dragons were successful at grinding out a win. They tried to repeat that performance in Week 1 of the finals and were largely successful. They had all the field position and had enough possession to score 50 points. The difference between the Dragons and the Bulldogs is that their attack is predictable and hinges on an inexperienced half in that of Soward, and the Bulldogs attack is the number one attack in the league. It is going to be a high scoring affair and the team that keeps their composure will win.

You know, there's a really wacky guy on our Parramatta forum who says that we will beat the Bulldogs by 30. I don't subscribe to that point of view. I think it will be 40! Good luck, though.

Teams that think they will put a big margin on other teams generally get a big wake up call, I can't predict how this game will go but I would like to think the Doggies will go into the game with a mind set of if we play well enough we will win.

A market place of trade called Bankstown Square still exists? Man, where is it? It wouldn't be anywhere near CENTRO BANKSTOWN would it? Idiot!

surely you can't be serious.

Parramatta are very slight favourites with the bookmakers.

For me it's 50/50. Whichever forwards can get on top will win. There's only been 2 or 3 games this year where our forwards haven't aimed up. Parra have had > 10.

We need to start with Eastwood and get him to smack fui on his backside early on. That'll sort them out.

i think we wil match them in the forwards at least but they have some razzle dazzle in the backline.

There defensive is tight knit and for me its simply i cant see us outscoring them.

I knew thuggdogg was just a Parra fan in disguise, and now with the matchup this week it's confirmed.

Dogs won't be taking a backward step, and I am sure what happened last time between the clubs will be on the players minds, and that will ensure they bring it on against the Eels.

As a Parramatta fan I have to say that this is a fifty-fifty affair on paper. I've always liked the Berries. When I was a little boy, Les Johns was my favourite player. But I grew up in Parramatta and I've supported them since 1966. Even during the eighties, though, and those titanic battles between Warren Ryan and Jack Gibson, I never hated Canterbury. Always respected them as being the best opposition out there.
I think Luke Patten is going to be the real danger man on Friday night. We'll have to contain him or limit his involvement.
Anyway, win lose or draw, both sides have had a much better year than last year. I think the week off will hurt you guys; I think Parramatta's momentum will hurt you guys; I think Kimmorley will have to be a bit gun-shy; I think it will be one hell of a heavy battle with no prisoners taken; I think Parra will win by sixty. Oh no, sorry, I didn't mean that. We'll win by a field goal in the last minute.:lol::lol:
