Honest take - I don’t think we will win it, but they will die trying.
And that’s better than most. Hence the doomsday talk is like chicken little from way back - absolute bore fest.
A team needs a lot of luck with everything - particularly injuries and judiciary. The later being at the hands of $$$ gods, something we rarely have control over

I'm a lot more positive with the news big Ron will be back earlier than expected. I also think (nay hope) our defence will be extremely hard to crack this season. A lot depends obviously on which Nicho turns up this season in the big games.

As I said would love to be proven wrong of course I will watch them.
I am a Sunderland fan I knew we wouldn't win the top flight this season even though 6 time former Champions, but I still watch it.
The Sharks can win it, I just seen some players and those last 2 prelims key players went missing.
If the club could get Mitch Barnett for this year as he is coming back from warriors release due to daughter, offer up Uele & Cam or Toby.
That would be a huge difference maker.

Not just Nicho.
AFB probably had worst game for us in first half of prelim, that was not down to him but lack of support of other forwards when needed
Kennedy and Ramien in the biggest games seem to get outplayed
