Bronx Goodwin looked really good at the back

Verlinden was a standout, with some great carries, offloads well

Stapleton went well in his NSW Cup debut

We Won 32-20 after being down 16-4 at one stage

Tries: A Killingbeck, M Taulapapa, I Gordon, A Vea, J Caine, B Green
Goals: S Porter 4/6

SAG. Does this Verlinden character have any lateral movement at all. Can he do the job as the A defender in other words. Nice runs and flashy offloads are all very well but it's not what the NRL side needs right now. Is he solid enough in the 1%ers to be seriously considered?

Glad Bronx went well. He should. He's a class above that competition. In fact that was a fair dort of team we ran out with as far as I can tell. Should be doing better than they are.

Stapelton. Did he have any old hard heads give him some stick? Did he play in place of Finger Filiga?

On another note. How did Inu go?

Verlinden is very moveable for a big bloke, he has a bit of speed and hits hard in defence, looked like Ricky Stuart took alot of notice of him, after the match him and stuart had a long conversation.

Stapleton went well, he was good under the high ball in cyclonic conditions, and held his own very well.

Inu scored a try and kicked 2 goals, thats all he did really.

Our team was

Interesting you mention that. I've actually thought for a while Sticky has been weakening our NSWcup side with so many players not playing in it due to him frequently taking 18 and 19th men with him who don't play any footy at all. I think Misi went almost a month last year as a perpetual FG 18th man who didn't play footy at all.

It's more beneficial to Sticky if the rest of our top 25 is playing NSWCup. If the NSWCup side is going well, it's a better spot to test the NYC youngsters before deciding if they are ready for first grade.

They were going so rubbish last year, that very few youngsters played in it, I think is the main reason we saw so few debutants last year.

Interesting Stapleton played against men..

That team is looking alot stronger then it did a few weeks ago... Depth is starting to come back slowly!

I want Goodwin at fullback this week!

Does Caine look ready to step up? I dont think I can watch much more of Hughs. He makes Covell look like Shane Whearat...

Just glad to hear Ricky was there.

Stapleton and Mannah, interesting to see them selected with the men, that has to mean something.

Don't happen to know which side Stapleton was on?

Hope Selmes made metres.

Stapleton was on the right wing

our halves were the corner stone to the victory, Porter was outstanding, green also had a very good game.
