Some great news to end the season

In one of the Sunday papers - all our Flegg team in today's GF except Jon Wright are signed for next season - and Brian Smith has watched every game of their season live or on video and rates the entire side.
I don't know where we will find spots for Snowden, Natusch, Laban, Tuafua, Durea, Wooden, Gordon and McManus all in PL - but it does probably mean that guys like Uate, Cooper, Richardson, Walsh, Paterson, Ling, Tupou, Seu Seu, Jeans and Schillings will all play some Flegg next season - and being joined by Jenkinson, Miller, Dobbins, Burraston and Brown (all rep players) from Ball - plus a few signings - we will again have a killer Flegg side.

That's tremendous news if it's true. The chemistry and feeling of mateship that they've all developed this year will hopefully carry across to Premier League and (beyond that) first grade. When was the last time we won Jersey Flegg?

Sorry, should've said the Knights FORWARDS were showing the Penriff players what it's like. What a disappointing game. IMO we were the better team, just couldn't handle it. Congrats to Penrith, the very definition of a gutsy win after being battered left right and centre.

The Knights were unlucky today with plenty of 50/50's going against them, I would have like to seen the final penalty count because they got hammered.

Having said that, geez they made some mistakes. Anyway, good luck to them for a fantastic season.

Snowden really impressed, it will be interesting to see if he gets some time in the top grade, I hope so.

Also, I'm sure that Uate has more learning to do but sh*t he looks like a prospect.

terrence had a freakin awesome game..there is our hooker of the future
just quickly on Uate..was so glad to see him make his customry line break and score from almost entire length of field..but boy o boy hi defence got shown up yesty..lot of arm grabbing..led to a couple tries...but yes..he is still my fav pleyer..wat a legend

I was sitting up with a bunch of Eels fans, and The Colonel and I were talking about the Flegg team. I told him about how I'd read that we'd re-signed all but one, and that Jon Wright was going to the Eels next year. He then started to tell me that they were getting Uate too, saying that he hadn't actually signed a contract with the Knights and had signed for the Eels that morning. I was deadset sh*tting myself :lol:
