Some referees wear red white and blue glasses

Watching Roosters v Dogs.

Disappointing to see the 6 again rule used so inconsistently.

Roosters being given repeat sets leading to points. Yet they are serial offenders tonight slowing down the play the ball.

Don’t like the Dogs and their supporters but these refereeing performances are killing my interest in the game.

Roosters should be in Tokyo this month at the Olympic wrestling venue.

I wish this rule didn't come in. Once a team receives a couple of 6 agains in a row, you can

bet that they will score.

Anyway, the rule is in and you win some and you lose some so hopefully balances out the equation.

Saints Forever - Your comments re killing interest in the game are resonating with me.
Ive followed the game for 60 years but the PV party fiasco has just about done it for me.
The last ten years of being a saints supporter haven't helped either.
My family is telling me to find another team ??
I haven't watched any football since, and just feel like the game is loosing appeal.
As you say, the (randomly applied) six again rule is significantly contributing to the lack of interest.

6 again normally points are score , but not us .......
That's because the refs give our 6 agains in our 10 metre zone and not the oppositions 10.

The Dogs last night were killed with the 6 agains going against them. If they did not concede as many as they did, they might have won. The Bulldogs are really the underdogs this year so instead of winning the wooden spoon they should be given a large bone.

The NRL need to stop the rule changes peel back the 20 or so in the past few years and start looking at the game firstly by where it has all gone wrong
Fixing and policing the ruck, held and the play the ball fiasco's,
then we can start fixing other parts that need attention.

Most certainly the 6 again is the main reason for some teams scoring so many points - and as Dragon David has said dependent upon just where the attacking team is at the time .

Off track somewhat , but at the very end of the game , did anyone see the Rorters Sam Walker receive the ball approx 20 meters out from the Dogs try line and run back to his own try line ? The bloke done a complete 180 degree turn around and ran to his own try line to count down the clock .

Why didn’t he just have a shot at field goal , one of the strangest occurrences I have seen on the footy field. Naturally Trent Robinson was not too happy about it .

What Robbo calling out Hetherington's shot as high around head and neck
But I thought coaches could not say things to have a potential influence on the match review
Of course Trent says it was a good shot

Yes saw it and thought what a goose, whoops, sorry, what a rooster, he didn't trust himself if he got tackled and ran away from the opposition like a scaredy cat, whoops, sorry, scaredy rooster. I wished he did it with much more minutes left to play.

Robbo was not impressed at all. I'm sure he said to the others in the coach's box, wtf is this kid doing, the silly idiot, whoops, sorry, the silly rooster. They should have played the Benny Hill music and put it in fast motion and have it as a symbol of where our game is heading at the moment. Hahahaha!!
