Somerset v Australians at Taunton June 26-29, 2013

This is our first of two warm up games before the ashes. 2nd game is against Worcester on July 2nd.

Clarke has stated he'd like to be right for this game. I think we need to play our top 6 batsman in both games. Only play our test bowlers in one game and "rest" them in the other one, unless someone needs more game time conditioning.

I dont see him getting a run in the Ashes as he has been way too inconsistent over the last 12 months but he is in some form atm

Agreed he's not ready for Test level, but boy he's talented.

Given our lack of batting , he's not far off.

We honestly dont have the luxury of holding a player back for experience.
