Sometimes rugby league just isn’t fair

Newcastle had the Bunker on their side as well as Badger who was looking at a concussed Hiku but thought, f**k it, you’ll be right just as the Knights score

The Warriors had the Bunker against them. Ken Maumolo clearly scored his third try when he touched the ball down with his fingers on the ball, but the Bunker overruled the referee and called it no try.

That was in addition to the referee not stopping the game when Hiku was clearly concussed, allowing one of the Mata'utia triplets to score for Newcastle.

I don't have an issue with the Hiku incident only because the whole "trainer has to signal" thing has been fairly consistent all year.

I do hate the rule itself though and think it's a ridiculous process, especially when a player lays prone with no real clear thought should something else unexpected happen.

That one's not on the refs though but the idiot rule makers.

Maumalo 100% scored though. It was as clear as Fus' hand being out last week.

Anyone remember this?

He did not brush the side of the football. He was holding the football with his fingers.
We see it differently then. To be fair I only saw the one angle on the news.
Let's, for arguments sake, go with your perspective; how do you conclude that one poor bunker decision was due to an "anti-Warrior" conspiracy?

Are you suggesting then that no other team has had a bad bunker decision?

Other teams get bad bunker decisions. But none get so many, and such decisive ones, as the much maligned New Zealand Warriors.

Let's just ignore that just a week ago, the Warriors were given numerous leg ups against the Panthers including being given a try that was obviously not one and other bad decisions.

Swings and roundabouts.
