Breakaway from Kelly Clarkson reminds me of the Princess Diaries scene of the little girl from the orphange.

Culture Club - Do You Really Want to Hurt Me
always reminds me of The Wedding Singer

There is a tv commercial in Canada now where guys in bars sing one line of Do You Really Want to hurt Me at a time, then it cuts to another macho guy singing the next line. At first you don't recognize the song, until they get to the chorus. There's a tag line at the end onscreen - "please bring back hockey".

It's an ad by Molson beer, one of the main sponsors of NHL hockey on Canadian TV. There is currently a lockout in the NHL and Canadian fans are missing their game. It's funny seeing all these masculine hockey fans singing a Boy George.

So I think the song will remind Canadians of the commercial for a long time.
