An unknown rugby player could be heading to a stadium near you. Club management yesterday indicated it was more than interested in Australian rugby player Sonny Bill Williams.
Head coach Bill Parcells today stated he was intersted in the possibility of Williams coming to the NFL saying he had the potential to be an outstanding wide reciever.
" I saw this guy play in the UK and let's just say he's got raw talent you rarely see. He's just an athlete."
Standing at 191 cm and weighing in at 110 kg, Williams could more than hold his own in this competition. Parcells also said the signing could also create massive interest.
" All I can say is he just has it, somthing special".
Williams would be the first NZ born NFL player if the signing was completed.
Owner Jerry Jones says finances would not be a problem, saying "he would love to see this guy in the blue and white colours".
One things for sure, it could possibly be one of the biggest cross-code coups in the history sport.
