As a kiwi Sonny Bill is the best thing to happen to RL in NZ.
Some might think the Hype surrounding the kid is bad and some of the media should pipe down, but I disagree.
I'm a union fan through and through as are most kiwis, but I love my league also, and if its to grow as a sport in NZ to greater heights, a big name player like Sonny Bill could have the same sort of impact that one Jonah Lomu did on the NZ public.
Lets hope he is the name which makes Rugby League bigger on the international stage, and bigger in NZ!
On the comments of him being over rated, It's obvious to everyone the talent is there, but let's not forget consistecy is what makes chamipons.
This time last year Clinton Toopi would have just about been the best player in the world, how was his form in this years NRL? not even a shadow of his form last year.
I ope SB improves from here on in, if he does he WILL be the greatest to have ever played, but labelling him that already is over the top!
