With the news that Sonny Bill Williams will be testing his worth on the open market after the June 30 deadline, u reckon the Raiders should/will have a go for him????

Im sure we will have a fair stack of $$$ available, and also i saw in either an interview or in a column that he supported us as a youngster. He would prob cost alot but i think he would be worth every cent and would be an absolute ticket seller.

We may as well. I mean we wouldnt get him, cos he'll probably stay with the dogs. The fact that he supported us as a kid would help immensely i reckon. Yeah we'll have a crack at him, but he only wants to test his worth... I dont think he really wants to go anywhere.

SBW will require a mint to lure away from the Bulldogs. It will not be just what is in the contract. It is what is in the "Third Party Sponsorships" (often known as brown paper bags down in the western suburbs of Sydney). Has our club managed to EVER put together anything decent on legitimate "Third Party Sponsorships"?

Some stupid club like Manly or Souths will offer him the world and we won't be able to compete with an offer that large. I don't really think he wants to leave the Dogs anyway, he is more than likely just testing his worth.

I think Raider_Azz is right, remember when the Bulldogs' Hazem El Masri tested his worth? Nobody could give a crap about him and while SBW is not quite the same, i think the Bulldogs probably know how much he is worth.
