SOO 1, 2020. Who’s coming to Adelaide?

Surprised they have bothered this year, cost more and generates nothing for the State in tourist $'s. Why not carry it over to next year when it would have been a much bigger opportunity?

Im with you... and wouldn’t be surprised if they actually negotiate to bring it back here next year if full crowds are allowed.

I’m going anyway with a bunch of locals, no doubt the atmosphere will be compromised but hopefully the teams are allowed in a few days before to promote it in town with the borders opened now.. it was gonna be FIFO same day at one point.

EDIT —— They confirmed the game proceeding but only gave til 30th September to get refunds, at which stage the NSW was still shut so I dead this would have a big impact on the blatchys section... they opened the border back up not long after..

It may still draw QLDers though.

There will be a decent atmosphere since it's already hit COVID capacity. I'm surprised they kept it in Adelaide this year but the government must've seen some benefit to not postponing. You'd hope.
