Who cares if it touched Farahs boot, he lost the ball forward, the refs have cost NSW this game. every QLD try was on the back of a bullshit refs call.

how was jennings the only one in the bin? it was 7 on 1 the refs didn't stop it so jennings had to help his team mate. what do you expect with 2 rookie refs? surely one rookie with someone like archer or hayne.
Yeah every 50/50 call went to Qld like it always has for the last 7 years

Hayne and Jennings were 2 blues I was impressed with. Jennings should be in first grade

Hope hayne brings in some confidence from the blues game

Anyone got Hayne's stats?

#MustBeGood

An excellent game by JH. About the only thing I could criticize him for is clocking off once he's handled the ball. Particularly noticeable in the Stewart no-try. Hayne puts Jennings away with a shimmy and a good pass, but instead of backing him up, he just starts jogging. Probably would have won the race to Jennings kick if he'd kept running..

That said, he was by far the Blues best back, and got blocked out of a heap of bombs which he should of got plenalties for.

Anyone else notice when the blue happened 3rd man Thiaday single out Pearce, he's a cat of the highest order. One of these he'll get the smack in the mouth he deserves.

I thought that Hayne was great. Did you notice with 10 to go Bird and Gallen were looking to Hayne to make the difference ? Not saying we would have won, but Hayne at 1 instead of Stewart would have given us more options.

That dropped ball by Inglis try was a joke. As was the sin bin. Since when does a player get yellow carded for fighting in origin without 3 warnings ?

NSW coach Ricky Stuart last night revealed referees boss Bill Harrigan admitted video referee Sean Hampstead should never have awarded Greg Inglis's controversial 73rd-minute try.

Beyond that I was impressed with Gallen, Pearce, Uate, Jennings (come to Parra if Penriff don't want you buddy), Bird, Lewis, Tamou and Carney will be better for it.

Not being bias, I think that Timmy would have bent the line more than Merrin. Did Creagh play ?

Trex was dissappointing for me. He plays well when a team is making yards and he can roll over them. However when the other side have good line speed, he struggles. Part of the problem was that he was getting the ball flat footed as 2nd receiver.

I think they can do better than Josh Morris. Don't know who, but someone.

Did you miss the part where he didnt back up Bird, when Bird off loaded and the the ball went into touch when Hayne should have been there. Could have been very interesting had Hayne been on the fly with that one.

Hayne seemed to play more in the middle that he did on the wing, looks like Sticky asked him to get his hands on the ball alot more than a conventional winger

Yes he def had a roving role. A smart coach will look at the quality of his touches compared to Stewart and fix that.

A smart coach would play him at fullback instead of on the wing, he was much better than Stewart.
