I have been persistent with creating these despite the awful start to the season and this is obviously the most sweet one thus far! A very good performance by the team with a marked improvement in defence. Their 2 tries only came off the back of 2 SKD errors. Our attack still has a lot of room for improvement but is getting better each week and jacko is starting to control the team and look like a leader.

thank f**k for that..... Napa was a beast , most amazing performance from a front rower I can remember seeing.

51 tackles 19 hitups 141 metres 80 minutes.. had the South's pack running scared.

still concerned with Fergo's defence and his communication with SKD but at least our goal kicking issues seem to be solved

Nope, nothing yet. Hopefully it is only a few weeks.

In positive news, Cordner is now listed as round 8 and JWH round 9 so we could have both them and Pearce back in 3 weeks.

SoH is really starting to find his feet in first grade..

Latrell saved a try with his defence, which is a massive step in the right direction..

Maubs & SKD were enormous again..

3 points: Dylan Napa. Hands down the best on the park. Played the full 80 minutes, made 51 tackles, ran the ball 19 times making 141 metres, and scored a try to boot. An outstanding front rowers knock that any player would be proud of. Was outstanding.

2 points: Aiden Guerra. 15 runs for 122 metres, 37 tackles, he seemed to be everywhere and managed to burrow over for a try also. Slight blemish with one ball drop, but had a great game.

1 point: Jackson Hastings. Ran the show and got 2 try assists. Starting to come into his own.

On side note, interesting we get our first win and we lose the penalty count 5-3.

Napa was the obvious 3 points and there was plenty in the running for the other points.
But I can't give any to Fergo, his defense has been rubbish and its very disappointing.
He was very lucky that the $ouff$ centre was rubbish
