fair cop... not a fan, but one of my mates said they were brilliant

I love FNM. Went with a mate who absolutely hated them based on their recorded stuff. He left Soundwave in 2010 saying they were the best band he's ever seen (and he goes to a lot of gigs).

They were simply phenomenal.

yeah, that offspring setlist looks terrible to me lol. way too much from americana onwards.

What did you expect? Any fans who liked their earlier stuff ditched them a decade ago. They were one of my favourite bands back in the day, now I cringe every time I hear one of their songs after ixnay. Gone away was the last good song they ever did, unfortunately it was also the song that triggered their transition from punk to pop trash.

In relation to offspring I love ixnay and smash but I also love Americana with the exception of pretty fly (obviously)

For me it was a decent set list and opening with bad habit and then all I want was awesome

oh thats what I did expect. Thats why I went and saw MSI when Offspring were on.

Smash was the start of the pop phase, not so much the album but the popularity of it which lead to their departure from epitaph to go to columbia records. Ixnay had some pop lacings but was still a poor mans smash (still fantastic in parts however). Then came the Pretty flys and why dont you get a job and original prankster and such, and The Offspring became a smash mouth clone.

I do seem to recall something about him saying there was no Slash last SW, but he was announced.

AJ announced All Time Low and said he's keeping a spot open for either Rancid or Weezer

I'd be happy as f**k if that was true.

I found this odd...

Hey, if I was going to announce Bowie I would have done it with Spiders From Mars! #swREVOLUTION

Does that mean Bowie is playing?
