If I was over there I would not need a second announcement to convince me to go. FNM and Jane's wold be enough, the rest is just gravy.

As long as Faith no More aren't cancelled - which I know they won't. I'm not at all excited about the 2nd announcement.
Got our tickets already anyway.

Anthrax with Belladonna or Bush as singer are phenomenal live. I really hope they make it. The rest don't interest me.

The girl who is doing the announcement next week is giving clues away each day as to who is coming to soundwave in the second announcement.

So far:

Tuesday - One is an old school metal band
Wednesday - One is a headliner
Today - One of the eight bands being announnced is Australian - (maybe parkway drive?)

If Placebo are playing, that seals my decision.
Looks like the chances of placebo playing are pretty high... It seems soundwave have put up thumbs for the bands early on the site (not linking to them yet obviously).

"Set your goals" (Couldn't post due to 5 image limit)

It could all obviously be a ruse at this point... But those are the likely bands, with 2 more to come.

all those bands are sh*t.
Only Anthrax interests me. I've seen the likes of Metallica, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Slayer, Megadeth etc and in terms of a live old school metal act, Anthrax are right up there with the lot of them, in fact I found them to be more enjoyable than most of the aforementioned.

The rest are pretty damn ordinary.
