If the NRL and the Souths board are serious, than i think this is the way to go
Souths have long said that they don't get the fans in the city anymore. A lot have moved around the country, and the crowd figures seem to prove this. Souths are also seen as a 'battlers' club, and as anyone who goes regularly to the SFS would know, a trip to the venue is not cheap.
So Souths, to you i say cop the tip. To Souths fans i say, you would still get plenty of chances to see the team when they play Sydney teams.Souths would be a lot more profitable IMO if they operated out of the Gold Coast or even the Central Coast
The NRL are looking at having a side on the Gold Coast or the Central Coast. When the gold coast consortium come down to Sydney next month, to Georgie i say, listen very closely to what he has to say
Cheers,
