Mate, the second that Buderus comes off we fall apart, maybe with Joey back this might be possible, but Bedsy is a 80 minute player and is brillant at it.

If we can slot this fella on the wing or centres, then that might be more appropriate.

It would be great if he could develop into the Knights version of Craig Wing, or Michael Sullivan. Knight82, he doesn't have to replace Bedsy as such, just take some dummy half plays ala Wing, Sullo,Campbell etc. Buderus can still be on the field. He could replace the 5/8th, or any back for that matter, and a bit of switching around to accomadate him. More and more teams are using players in this role, and from what I've seen of Spiteri he could fit the bill.

We used to use Quigley in this sort of role a couple of years ago and he was very effective. At the very least I'd love to see Spiteri get a run when the team's got some momentum in a few weeks.

The thing he has over guys like Quigley, is speed, and agility, he is very hard to grab hold of. Last week v the Dragons, he made a darting run from around 45 metres out, the ref kept calling play on when defenders thought they had him and he slipped out of their tackles, they finally got him about 5 metres out and we scored from the next play to tie the game up. The thing I really like about him apart from his ability, is his enthusiasm, he is right in there and it rubs off on those around him, there's a lot to like about this bloke.

As I said he has the qualitys of the Michael Sullvan and the Craig Wing when he can just come in and run rings around those tired fowards.
