No, Soundwave is total garbage.

Splendour - Easily the best festival lineup in Australian history. Surpassing early BDO imo.

It'll have to be sideshows for me though . Alas, the ticket prices have surged and with travel,beers etc it will be a $1K minimum event. Just a tad above my student budget.

Missed out on Pixies recently, praying for a sideshow.

So u saying soundwave is garbage means it's ok for people who like metal, punk, hardcore music to say that splendour is sh*t, seriously no music is superior to any other and just coz u don't like a festival line up doesn't mean it's sh*t for everyone else.

Soundwave had janes addiction who only pulled out of last years splendour on the last minute. Soundwave is bringing out bands who havnt been here in a long time and looks to be starting to getting some variety in their lineup with headlining bands. Bdo and soundwave IMO r my 2 fav festivals. That splendour lineup doesn't interest me tbh but I'm not saying it's sh*t coz clearly people on here like it.

Tickets are $350 for no camping.

$450 for camping.

I'm not sold on the 3 day thing... 2 days was perfect, and cheaper

Problem with no camping seems to be that there is not much else around
