Spoiler: Cowboys

Cowboys have been the most disappointing team for some years now. Henry is not the super coach many thought he would become and seems to always fly under the radar. His teams are soft - can't defend their line and cant win away from home. Was the same at the Raiders.

Cowboys may still make a run and get into the top 8 but they won't win a game outside of Townsville.
Why would anyone think he was a supercoach? He won about 45% of his games at Canberra and he's around the same at NQLD. Never done anything exceptional or noteworthy as a coach. He has wasted NQLD's most promising years.

Knobs. How hard is it to keep discussion out of the main forum until the game is over on free to air.
How hard is it not to open your laptop, turn it on, log on, click on the internet, type in http://www.leagueunlimited.com/forums, click on NRL, browse he topics and click on one that says "Spoiler: Cowboys"?

You are type of dumb f*ck that would drive your car into a telegraph pole and blame the pole

And let's not forget Thurston has never won a premiership as a starter in his life, despite having a lot of talent around him throughout his career. He's overrated at club level.
So you are admitting that every Souffs player since Ron Coote was sh*t?

He has gotten his reputation for greatness from playing and winning for Queensland and Australia in David v Goliath rep games, where his team is always Goliath.
Thurston has proved himself at all levels. However, apart from his awesome combination with Bowen 8 years ago, he hasnt had a team with any go to men. Thurston aint Johns, but no one has made Greg Inglis' rep career more than Thurston.

Cowpats forwards are not cutting it. Any pack that is half Scott, Tamou and T Simms should be decimating opposing packs. Puts Carl Webb's efforts in a new light imo.

As for Henry, has has always been, and always will be sh*t. He achieved nothing at Canberra that Elliott didnt. He was only employed because he is mates with the board. Therefore, despite what roster they can cobble together, they will never be a hungry club.

Which is sad. Their sides mid 00's were awesome examples of RL at it's best. Then again they had Rauhihi. They need another one.

Worrying that they dont have many wins up on the board before origin, they will struggle even more without their stars.

Our forwards weren't the problem last night.

There's not one back bar JT, worth feeding out there. Too old, too slow, no creativity, dumb decisions/plays.

I think because of his involvement in the QLD origin series everyone thinks he's this tactical genius.

"Yeah Cam, pass it to Locky, who'll give it to Slater who will give it to Inglis and run at Stevey Turner". SUPERCOACH.

Thurston's goal kicking has been atrocious this season.

Including last night he has only kicked 26/40 (65%)

JT has been well off the pace, Bowen is MIA and we have no genuine line breakers or pace in our backs. Sure Graham is a great finisher but his metres come from dummy half scoots and not from recieving decen tball and turning his opposing backs inside out. There isn't a player who could score a try coast to coast without being mowed down after 60 or so metres. Having rubbish hookers means the start of every play goes down a febw notches and then it's just a dominoes effect from there when an off JT doesn't get it at the right time who then has noone running a decent line outwide to pass it too.

Slow, boring and generally uninterested with the exception of a few of our pack.

When will Neil Henry be under a bit of pressure? His record over his time in the NRL is mediocre as hell and he's failed to bring much improvement in several seasons up north.

Also the failure to secure a decent hooker has been disasterous for them.

I dont think that will come to fruition until we fail to make the 8 this year and the axes start coming out during the off season. If we don't atleast hear rumours then you can start calling him Tim Sheens.

Considering how well segs has sparked in what many would consider one of the less spectacular packs in the comp at penrith (not rubbish or the smallest but just not one of the best), then getting the fulltime gig between scott and tamou would have been the best thing for him. Never fear, neil will resign Hall for another 2 years and let a few young blokes that a tired of killing it in the QLD Cup to make room for him.
