I put Golden State in against the 8.5 start. They are playing now. When did Charlotte become Bobcats? I thought they were Hornets...Mr Saab said:for saturday games (played on friday in america)

Yes it is only 1 game and 1 loss. But there is so many 'weak' points to out team at the moment that I fear there are more games like last night on the horizon.
* When we are not allowed or fail to get into our quick fluent passing game we stuggle. We don't appear to have any other options.
* We can't defend at set pieces to save ourselves. On the flip side, unless it is with in shooting range for Henry, we are no good taking them either.
* We are too lightweight in midfield. As good as Cesc, Fred and Bob are they don't intimidate or have the metal in defence. Gilberto plays his role well, but his touches and distribution (as shown vs Bolton) are woeful.
* Being lightweight in midfield only heaps pressure on our defence, which is a major part of their problem. The midfields marking and tracking back to help out is poor far to often.
* I only get to see games on tv so it's a little hard to tell, but for me I can always tell when Henry is 'up' for a game. So often last night he was walking in a circle waiting for someone to give him the ball. When he is not 'up' for a game it shows and I feel the other players follow suit.
* Sol is not the defender he was in past seasons. He looks slow and unfit for mine.
* Cygan is no left back, we all know that. He was poor last night too (so was everyone), but did have his moments.
* Reyes is playing without confidence. And Bergkamp as good as he was, is past it.
* Why do we always try and walk the ball into the back of the net? Shoot the bloody thing occasionaly.
* Wenger still pulls some strange substitutions. Van Persie is one guy that looked likely and at least he will pull the trigger.
I've probably missed some things that have struck me this season. And it's not about throwing the towel because we had a defeat. Last night was poor yes and we'll bounce back. BUT to many of these things are highlighted far to often and it's only a matter of time before we do lose touch with that top 4 unless we can fix them.
Going forward is not the problem. The midfielders at the club are always dangerous in attack. As I said, it's the defending side of it that is lacking and is creating so much pressure on the defence.Moffo said:i agree, its the midfield that is doing you in. Good defence (usually) and some top strikers, you just need more out of your midfield

Birmingham vs West Ham - Total Goals - Under 2.5 $1.63
Charlton vs Man City - Man City +0.5 $1.62
Perth vs Central Coast - Both Teams to Score $1.95
Odds of $5.14
Lee vs Clark - Most Wickets - Lee $1.70
Newcastle vs Villa - Newc +0.5 $1.19
Blackburn vs Everton - Total Goals - Under 2.5 $1.57
Golden State vs Charlotte - Golden State $1.22
Odds of $3.87 (Lee and Clark tied, so i get half of that)
how often do you boys collect on the 6 leg and 7 leg multis, cos i usually tend to stick to the 3 or 4 leg multis and im thinking i might add a couple more in for more next time.
Nuffs said:what's the rule with sports betting and the event of a tie? halved div to a min of $1.00?
you wont get half of the $3.87 as having lee "win" that bet would effectively LESSEN your payout
my understanding would be you'd get (1.19 x 1.57 x 1.22 x 1.00) = 2.28
not (1.19 x 1.57 x 1.22 x 0.85) = 1.94 as you'd get less for picking a winning selection
