True, she would of got a niggle and dodged a world class horse.

Benbatl lol.

Today's interesting info

Exultant the horse who has beaten Lys Gracieux twice in Hong Kong got beaten by 7 lengths by Benbatl in the Group 3 Hampton Court Stakes when he raced in Europe under the name Irishcorrespondent and was trained by Aidan O Brien

PS This info doesn't really mean much because Irishcorrespondent aka Exultant only had 4 starts in Europe and has improved greatly since than

K bye

Hmmmm hard to say,Almond Eye has form around Cheval Grand and Kiseki and both of those were flogged by many many lengths when they went to Europe

Maybe but at least I can’t see Almond Eye getting rolled by some C grade thing like Enable did

Locky as much as we do take the piss out of you and your love affair for Debbie, yes Winx was a champion. To win 35 straight races against any opposition in horse racing considering all the variables is pretty fkn extraordinary.

In my eyes though the fact she never raced any true superstar internationals either here or overseas (not her fault the owners didn’t have the balls) she will always have an asterisk next to her name imo.

As much as they say ‘come race in Australia, we have the money and best racing’ we all know that is absolute BS and our middle/staying WFA form is piss ordinary.

They didn’t have to go to Ascot, they could of gone to HK, Dubai, Japan, US etc where it’s still good money and competed against the better opposition. All the other great horses of the last 10 years have done so and won Grp1s on different continents.

Telling you fans from other countries have greater respect for Enable, Arrogate, Goldikova, Almond Eye, Just A Way etc because they travelled to win the big International races for the SPORT of it which end of the day is what horse racing is

Enable barely has travelled at all...and it lost in its pet distance already once, just saying.

Don’t care too much whether a horse travels or not anyway, you should back your own jurisdiction anyway.

Dude she won her second Arc then pretty much got straight on a plane and won a Breeders half way across the world 3 weeks later. That’s a Champion horse.

Winx had to travel to the Sunshine Coast once.
