Sorry, I missed this. Generally, Evaporate performs best at 1500m–1600m, so I didn't favour him yesterday, despite my love for the horse; the trip was slightly too short.

AC is a good horse mate. That was a very good run, Jimmy is a world class sprinter. That race was over after they took positions, was never going to be able to come from behind Jimmy in a small field like that.

AC will win a big race, he just needs 1400-1500m, speed on and to draw a gate.

I still maintain they made an error not having a crack at the Golden Eagle. Not sure if they were trying to protect his record of the Mares but that was his race… look at the form through Evaporate.

The problem with the prep was the protecting of Baby Winx so she could remain unbeaten…it wrecked ACs plans.
Would’ve won the Toorak with a positive enough steer & probably the Eagle like you say.

Shout out to any “Dance Dad’s” out there watching Dance Concerts this time of year. I’m down to one now thank f**k, but it is a brutal 2-2.5 hours.

It’s cute, but it is long.
