Here’s how it looks for 2010 as far as I can tell (as of 30 July 2009).

From Existing Squad:
Backs: (8)
Tuiaki, Ayshford, Ryan, Lawrence, Hanbury, Marshall, Moltzen, Lazarus.
Forwards: (7)
Gibbs, Payten, Laurie, Farah, Ellis, Heighington, Galloway.

New Signings:
Backs: (3)
Tupou, Daniela, Brown
Forwards: (3)
Fulton, J. Shirnack, A. Shirnack

Left Club:
Backs: (2)
Collis, Tagive
Forwards: (1)
Morris

Existing Squad Unsigned As Yet:
Backs: (1)
Gallant
Forwards: (5)
Galea, Mataka, Payne, Halatau, Trimarchi

Space Filled 21
Space Available 4

I think I have got everything. Not looking too good for Gallant, Galea or Mataka- the only members of the 6 unsigned players I'd like to see kept on.

Has Dwyer been signed to the top squad yet?

If they have signed J Shirnack to the top squad you would think Dwyer would as well considering he got the first shot at first grade

The only unsigned players I would keep would be Gallant (obliviously) and Galea (provided that we can't get another better recruit)

I have not seen anything as far as I can tell confirming his status for 2010.

gee if farah gets injured we're f**ked.

We should add a lower grade hooker to the squad

I didn't think Hanbury had been re-signed past this year?

Nothing lately but my original notes from start of 09 have Hanbury till end of 2010- thats what I've gone on. I dont mind if he goes or stays if he is only contracted to 2009. I dont think he has done too much and he certainly has not been able to force his way back into the squad against Gallant. I know of the 2 who I'd rather offer a 2010 contract to.

With four spaces left, you would think common sense would be to keep Gallant, Galea and Skando for one year and BUY A PROP!

Then with Skando giving us another year, we could buy another in 2010.

Gallant is a super star, Galea plays OK and defends well and Skando can provide some forward leadership until we buy someone younger.

Morris isn't a starting hooker - but he was made to come off the bench. Can cover lock, hooker and defend in the backline. How it took Sheens three years to realise this is beyond me.

In all seriousness, if we could keep him for half of what he's paid now and only ever played him off the bench, I would. He is perfect in that role, always gives 100%. To be fair on Johnny, he wasn't selecting himself every week in the halves.....

Johnny come lately is going great guns coming off the bench playing at lock and a roving role.

As for the signings, I'd be looking at Simon Dwyer quick smart.

Have not included him because WT website have not issued a press release like all the other signings for 2010. Thats also why I have not included Woolnough from Penrith.

I suspect there maybe trouble wiht both those supposed signings.

Where is it mentioned we are supposedly signing Woolnough? Haven't seen this mentioned anywhere..
