Well I consider all edge forwards to be able to play in the middle. So where I have a merkin listed at edge forward it just means he can play there (but isn't enough of a utility to also play in the backs). Where he's listed as a middle it means he can only play in the middle.

Do the inidcators for player option and club option refer to the option applying in the year they appear in, or do they flag a potential further year (beyond that year where the player is last listed)?

i.e. are you making the assumption the options are taken up, or making no assumption and just reflecting the option-free contract duration?

It’s interesting to see how a lot of juniors opt to play for strong junior teams rather than their local ones. I’m guessing they think it’ll make it easier for them to obtain junior rep selection?
