the NRL have said to clubs to work within a 9.1mill guideline and have a squad of 30 with an additional 5 elite under 20's in that squad ( 35 man squad )

but nothing official as yet....

But that still doesn't say you can't sign a further 15 players outside of the Top 30 plus other 5, just like we do now on second tier deals?

My understanding is the nrl will be preventing clubs from playing players outside their 30 unless of course you have over 13 players from squad who are unavailable through injury...
Just imagine BA having to name Vave in the centres because of an injury crises in out outside backs...
It's absolutely ridiculous

The Genius that is Toddy Boy is in charge, and he is a complete myth, as soon as everyone wakes up to this and we can then get real change at the top, these sort of issues will continue. I can't think of one thing that he has instituted that is of value to the game, except of course smashing our club and ignoring obvious problems at teams like the Broncos.

role, but don't for one minute think that he arbitrarily makes up these changes and then implements them. He has a team of people who I am sure look at the options/alternatives before making a recommendation to implement some change.

He is the head of the NRL, he gets to implement and make decisions. What has happened under his rule is just not good enough

The inaction on the Broncos, from Andrew Gee to James Roberts , etc etc continues to deliver the air of " it's all too hard unless someone spills the beans". If the CEO of most organisations had failed to do what his charter specifies, then the question should be asked. His response when the jokers at our club asked that our fine be used to implement hard audits across the other clubs was pitiful " I am a confident you were the only club doing it"

Well, we leave him in there without criticism at the games peril

Went to school with my brother-in-law. Apparently big Charlie repeated year 12 a few times. Absolutely starred in the school footy team after he graduated from the NYC.

The NRL has agreed to let him train full-time with the Eels, but not play in the top grade at this stage.

He will make his return to the game in the NSW Cup and the Eels are hoping he will be cleared to return to the NRL in coming weeks.
