We have 2 spots left on our top 30 to fill had it confirmed last week.

Ryley Smith is a very good chance to be one of those hence why we didn't continue to pursue Brailey & the Knights weren't really wanting to budge either so talks halted and didnt eventuate.

Samrani doesn't have an NRL squad profile on the official site, supporting the rumour that he isn't top 30 until 2026. Interestingly, Kautonga's profile has recently been added to the official site, despite the club including in its signing announcement that he would be in the development list (or whatever it's called now)for 2025. So maybe he's been upgraded to top 30 a year early. Anyway there are now 28 merkins with NRL squad profiles on the official site.

Can you point out the discrepancy? Explain it to me like I'm @Incorrect
There is 26 for 2025 in the NRL Signings Tracker List and 28 in the NRL's 2025 Top 30 list. Guymer and Papalii are the differences.

Samrani makes both lists... Kautonga makes none of them!

You'd think there should be one list if the source is the same (i.e. the governing body, the NRL!!!)

I'm still off the opinion that we need to add 1 into the squad before March..

The only person who may confirm this is our HOF but I don't even think he knows himself.

Yep, if MON is still looking for another player for the top 30, they’re unlikely to be good enough for even a dozen NRL games. Is Morgan Harper still around? Otherwise we might upgrade the likes of Dick Penisini. Or just use him without the upgrade while merkins complain we haven’t filled the top 30.

Unless he's extending there's no point upgrading Richard this year as he's already eligible for round 1 being a development player. MON on the tip sheet said we're still looking to sign an outside back before round 1, although that was recorded before Christmas things may have changed in that time.
