Over the last couple of seasons Saints have finally started to spend money on juniors rather than Overseas stars.
James Roby - had a dissapointing four nations for his standard, used poorly by Tony Smith but he is still a very good hooker and apart from Cameron Smith who is special. There aint many Australia hookers who are that far away from him imo.
James Graham - the best prop in Rugby League IMO. He absolutely dominated the likes of Hannant and White and the Four Nations.
Kyle Eastmond - exciting scrum half who could go along way in the game. Sale Sharks and London Wasps both want his signature but his about to sign a new 4 year deal at St Helens. Very good news for English RL.
Add to them the 8 juniors we gave debuts to this year, means that we're now the benchmark for giving youngsters a really good chance.
The future star ? Although Kyle Eastmond is still only 20 years of age. Saints have a player called Johnny Lomax who really can achieve whatever he wants to in the game imo. He nearlly died at the age of 13 playing rugby league because of that his skull is inserted with metal plates and he must wear a head guard at all times when playing RL. He is still only 18 but played 10 games last season in a number of different positions. A class act!
