Stapleton has played ok and at least ahd a go, but honestly......he hasn't played "that" good????

he gets driven back a bit in almost every tackle and doesn't always run with enough venom

i'm not knocking him really, he tries hard, but with Cayless, Vella (maybe)Stringer, Cannings, Robinson, Tsouos, Armit and even Fuifui we have a hell of a lot of props and most are better than Stapo

and we bought 2 props for next year Stringer and Robinson

But still Stapo has had a real dig this year. Personally I'd like him to be in the squad next year but gee it's gonna be a tight fit. Cannings, Vella, Cayless, Hindmarsh, Morrisson, Wagon is 6 into 5, so even one of them has to drop to the bench.

Stapo this year is what Hopkins was last year... tried his guts out and was dependable. He might look good in an underperforming team, but he's not going to play any better if he's in a highly performing team, and he's not really going to help turn us into a highly performing team. I would say a big thankyou for your services and I wish you all the best playing solid, dependable footy elsewhere.
