star wars episode III-fantastic or pathetic?

Ignoring all the fanfare and hype (I know it's difficult) I think episode 3 will either be one of the best star wars movies or one of the worst. I am worried that George Lucas seems to be leaving all the plotlines up in the air to be resolved in this one movie and unless it goes for 4 hours he might not have time to cover them all.

Here's what I believe are the main plots:
Anakin's seduction and fall to the dark side (obviously)
the rise of the empire and destruction of the jedi (except yoda and obi-wan)
Chancellor Palpatine being revealed as the Emperor
Princess Amidala's pregnancy and luke and leia's birth
whatever the hell the wookies are up to
lots of scheming and political intrigue between the jedi council and palpatine with anakin caught in the middle and fighting with amidala about it
a giant space battle
a giant land battle
the lightsaber fight between anakin and obi-wan (supposed to be a long scene so it leaves even less time for the other stories)
jar jar bink's death (hey a guy can hope)
if there is time he might throw in what happens to R2D2 & C3PO between the end of the movie and the start of episode 1

There are probably several other things that people will bring up that i've either forgotten or never thought of as well

Lucas + Speilberg = Crappiest Directors Ever

I agree with the sci-fi junk comment. But Lucas directed a good movie in American Graffiti. And Schindler's List wasn't a bad flick.

I'm willing to bet there are plenty of your favourite movies and tv shows that i'm proud to say i've never seen! Wouldn't life be boring if we all had the exact same likes and dislikes?

Just from looking at the trailer it already looks better then the first 2 prequels. I think this one will be unreal and I can't wait for it.

Did any of you guys see Clones Wars Chapters 21-25 on Cartoon Network just recently? They were fifteen minutes each instead of the five minutes of the first 20 episodes. They were shown back to back yesterday, I missed the first two because I was watching the first half hour of the footy show. They lead directly in to Episode III, as in the movie will start pretty much at the point in time that Chapter 25 ended. The cartoon format allows way more liberties in terms of the action, although the jedis are depicted as ridiculously powerful. Worthwhile viewing if you can track them down, the Anakin sub-plot is a bit dull and probably won't be relevant to the film, but the Trade Federation invasion of Coruscant is where ROTS begins. General Grievous' pursuit of Palpatine and the few jedis protecting him is awesome stuff.
