Guys I am curious about this (and have been reading up on the basic rules etc and have somewhat of a grasp of how it works) but have a potentially very dumb question - how do the themes come into it? (Simpsons, Star Wars etc) apart from the names of the characters?

Obviously the role names, but usually the powers for the roles are adapted from the standard mafia role powers in a way that fits the theme (e.g. in The Simpsons Mafia, a Maggie Simpson role could have been given the ability to take out Mr. Burns by searching for him every night or every other night).
