It's a very strong team and will become even stronger when those who miss Australian selction join the team. Being on the weaker side of the draw Samoa would be favourites to make it to the final Vs NZ or Australia.

The players are going to cop an enormous amount of flack from the English crowds, expect chants of "where were you born? " " Aussie, Aussie, Aussie Oi oi oi " ..etc and also from the English media ( mostly from Rugby Union writers ) and of course social media ( mostly from Union fans)

If they can ignore the outside noise they'll have a successful world cup.

The things is that's the situation many Union teams were in at the world cup until very recently, some still are. It is hypocritical for them to use that argument.

Yep and Samoa and Tonga were littered with players born in NZ and Aus because that's the reality of migration and the quality systems they learnt to play their RU in. Honestly, they probably still are. I haven't checked and don't really care to. Too busy getting excited for our awesome world cup that is coming up

Why is it that suspensions include bans in a IRL event. Should only be served in NRL events (example PMXIII)

Whitehead charged. Burgess and JWH cop bans.

Yeh always thought bans in domestic comps shouldnt apply to rep games and vice versa.

It's always been this way, the Kiwis would always lose at least one player per test to a judicial decision.

And yep most sports bans count for all levels of the competition. It's not bizarre at all.
