Storm v Warriors was advertised to start at 7.50pm and didn’t start until 8.14pm.

That is not only ridiculous but very poor form by the NRL.

And bloody long halftime breaks too. Spose the Bastards have got to get their advertising money and the betting odds displayed as the oranges are being devoured.

But how long does it take to eat a couple of quarters of a cut orange. Not fharcan 17 minutes.

It's even longer during State of Origin.

So by the time the game finished it was midnight Auckland time.
Warriors body clock would have been a bit out.
