Are SOO coaches really coaching but??
they use to coach - there would be all sorts of set moves and classy play. But now, like with all aspects of top level coaching, all they can do is spend the whole prep time working on wrestling and getting the defensive side right. Meanwhile everyone complains about the refs when edge forwards can't even run decoys properly.

Yes (also college coaches). They could teach them a lot. Also things like the importance of being good at communicating with the media rather than the NRL coach culture of being an arsehole to the media. You shouldn't underestimate how much smarter American football coaches are to NRL coaches.

Can't imagine they'll go with Turbo anymore, his body is too broken. Best out as well so I imagine the back 5 will be

Edwards
Too
Mitchell
Crighton
Lomax

The Lomax combo will probably get Moses in over Luai unfortunately for us. I've noticed a couple of times at Origin level Crighton and Too have been caught having a rest when Moses has taken the line on down the short side so hopefully he isn't paired with them

Why would the Momax combo be taken over all that Smug combo?

Surely coaches do all the game planning, tactics and adjustments, and training to bring together combinations from different clubs so that they gel successfully?

Otherwise it's just a batch of talented individuals going out there and playing free style - like a Sunday training game in a local park. That's not what Origin looks like.

Earlier in the year I was happy with our origin draw against manly thinking they’ve have Turbo, DCE and Haumole in.

turns out they only lose DCE whose been pretty shit tbh and isn’t that much of a loss for them!

Turbo and Haumole will tear us a new one

Supposed to rain all week in Sydney i suspect it will be a wet track come friday night.

Might take there speed out of the backline but yeah my confidence isn't high without our 2 best players.

Who Seibold plays at 7 will be interesting Arthur or Joey Walsh

And your forgetting the one important factor Sydney teams struggle the week after playing Townsville
