Reflecting on the game, it just makes me so appreciative of Sorro’s efforts in the 23 GF. Stefano had been on for 10 minutes and didn’t have the fitness and clarity of thought to get out of the way when Cleary went over; Sorro had played the best part of 80 minutes but still bolted out of the way…

Sorro belongs in the all time Panthers squad on the bench due to his footy nous.

So many players would have stood like a statue in that play.

If Nathan misses even a single Panthers game with his quad I'd like to see the club sue the NRL. This shit can't continue

It's unbelievable how the rugby league world just allows this happen.

SOO will pay him ~$90k a year.
Panthers pay him $1.2m a year.

It's a dumb risk, for very little reward. And it looks likely to blow up in our faces.

Surely when we have 6 players in the squad, we should be sending some of our own support staff along to keep an eye on things.

Bizza doesn't train at all Mon-Thurs last week. Passes a fitness test Friday, then gets put back on ice for the rest of the campaign. And Cleary can't kick in the captains run.

Yet they still go out there and play 80mins of the highest intensity football of the season? Make it make sense.

And then you add in the fact that one of our biggest rivals coaches Craig Bellamy was involved in the decision to play him..........

Origin loses a lot of its hype because its annual. Make it every other year and let the hype fly off the charts.

Its easy to miss how good a play it actually was. He clearly realises whats on very early and bolts out. Its a big part of why the space opens up for Nath.

Kenny was a statue though. Very nearly f**ked the whole thing.

That was one play - albeit an important one.

However, Watson didn't throw a face pass to Haas in traffic on a wet and slippery night.

Cleary did it twice as well. The first one Haas managed to hold on to.

I thought the spine wasn't crash hot in game 1 either. In fact I reckon both QLD and NSW have been piss poor the whole series. Worst series since 2020 so far.

My crystal ball says Nath and Bizza will be sidelined until Game III, miraculously they will be named and play, which will result in season ending hamstring issues. I don't know why any club puts up with this bullshit, what is the point in the regular season. Parramatta have lost Moses for an extended period as well, and yes people will say anything can happen at training but it wasn't training for or playing for the club that pays your salary!

There's obviously a coaching issue at Origin level.

No forward was running onto passes all night in attacking positions.

So many standing still receivers.

NSW have one shape which resulted in four tries.

Imagine if they had two!

Clubs will sue soon enough.
