No Barba

Gavin cooper got in

Well that's f**ked, he deserves it.

Bit of team favouring going on there, if he was a Bronco or Cowboy (or Stormer), he gets in.

Could go down as the best ever player to have never played SOO - a f**ked "honour" to have.

Happy for all the guys - but I'm not going to lie. I'm going to hate watching Wednesday night hoping none of them get injured in a dead rubber game.

Barba is unlucky, but clearly QLD think another forward is a better option for ANZ - and I can't blame them for that.

Will be interesting who gets the call up for the Panthers game. I imagine Nu Brown and JSL would have to be the certainties.

Cooper is well deserved IMO and is replacing Josh Papalli

Nate Myles is in for Morgan, they went extra front rower (as in no DCE no Barba).

North Queensland backrower Gavin Cooper will make his long-awaited Origin debut for the Maroons, slotting in for bench forward Josh Papalii (knee, shoulder).
Walters said he would mull over naming shadow players this week, with Canterbury?s Moses Mbye and Manly?s Daly Cherry-Evans the leading candidates.
But Walters said the game plan was to load up on an all-forwards bench at ANZ Stadium in a bid to seal a fifth series sweep for Queensland.
?I don?t think it is a risk, particularly in Sydney,? Walters said.
?NSW have got a dominant side and try to play through the middle. To combat that we have to make sure we are strong through there.?

It's customary to pick players out of position.

Chief would make a good coach because he would get the blues super passionate & inspired about it & I don't think Laurie quite does that.

Selectors have made too many absolute c**k-ups. Give Bozo the flick.
NSW needs to pick young guns on form and stick with their development.

Chief as coach could work. Or I think Joey. For the same inspiration reasons.
I think Joey, teamed with an experienced mentor coach. Maybe even Gus.

Worked for Qld with Mal. No tactical genius of anything but he sure must know a thing or two about competing and passion. No need for brilliant tactician stuff st this level. Elite players, thrown together for 2 or 3 games only.

Bozo has already stood down

I've always thought Peter Tunks would make a good NSW coach
Hard nut
Always says the same shit we are saying about picking blokes in the right position
...and has coaching experience
Probably would love the money too

He's a c**k at times but who cares

Frizz is a great player, coifey, and we made him.
Don't believe the crap that he lives in the Gong either, he's less than 10 mins from the SCGS. I see him every day ;)

I'd take him back in a heartbeart. Perhaps we should throw some of Gillet's money at him.

that team is bad. Farah better finish this year. need youth and form players. good on graham for being picked. hope our boys do well and I hope sharks go well too.

IF Reynolds fails to be fit... Pearce gets picked... It sucks but it WILL happen.
the sooner we piss off this old NSW boys club the better. Bozo and Daley will bury NSW deeper and deeper.
Kind of hoping for a white wash because maybe Bozo will get the sack.
