It was at the end of the press conference transcript on the official site.

STATEMENT FROM CHRIS THORMAN...

I have absolutely no regrets about playing in the NRL with Parramatta. What an awesome Club it is. It is so professionally run, and I have nothing but total respect for both the on and off field staff. Everyone works so hard. If I come back to the NRL I'm only interested in playing for Parramatta. Since I have been here I have just tried to listen to as much advice as possible and you would be crazy not to take the advice of Brian, Rod Reddy, Jason Taylor and Alan WIlson, they have had lots of input.

Twizzle, Can you ever be positive about anything that happens to the parramatta club or any positive input a player says. You always seem to be whinging.

Thorman has said exactly the same thing in the English league press. Smart lad, doesn't burn any bridges.

pity he wasn't given more of an opportunity in first grade on a more consistent basis and at 5/8 to showcase his skills

funny how he decribed his season as "frustrating" under BS at Parramatta and didn't want to have "another wasted season like that in his career"

I dare suggest that there would be many players who could describe their time under Brian Smith as "frustrating".

Being at the Game, I was happy to watch the Press Conference,

That is one thing that the Sharks have that we don’t, Being allowed to stay in the ground and watch the post match press conference on the big screen was great, but would have loved to have heard more clearly the questions from the press but I am sure that will be in the Transcript.

For those that didn't see it either at the Ground, On Sports Tonight or on NRL Scoreboard. Thorman was sitting right next to coach smith when he said it, but you will also note he is wrapping the entire coaching staff of the club and not just Brian.

Thorman is a champion I hope he plays a few more seasons in the ESL then returns, so you Thorman bashers can eat your words when he shows just how classy he is.

Thorman has stated in an article in todays RLW that he wants to return to the NRL and would return to the Eels as well - possibly after a year or two.
