Stephen Kearney new assistant coach?

Just read on Facebook that SK has been appointed new Broncos assistant coach. Thoughts?

I don't mind this too much, I think he has potential as a coach in the long run, he'll be a good assistant coach to replace Alf!

A good move. He was great as an assistant coach with the Storm.

I think the biggest problem at the Eels was not the coach, it was the players, they played like gimps in every game except for 2, one against us when we played like gimps and one against the storm. Who ever takes over the Eels is not going to have instant success with them.

There aren't any decent halves on the market right now and those who were on the market this season were always unlikely to leave their club. (eg. DCE, Foran & Cronk)

Kearney isn't costing us any money off the salary cap and it's good to bring in a fresh new perspective. Alf has been apart of the team since 09 and hasn't really brought much.

It's like people who complain about signing Q Cup players instead of NRL players. The Q Cup signings happen regardless.
