Sterlo has always been one of the best commentators, and judges, of Rugby League.
I always respected his opinion but this season he seems a little off.
I noticed that he has been just about cheering for Parra when he's commentating their game, this never happened before and he had always tried to sound unbiased.
But I weally, weally noticed something was amiss during, and after, last weeks game between Saints and Raiders. He kept reiterating that it was a great game of rugby league. Without doubt it was the worst game this season, a terrible, terrible spectacle. Even my Saints friends said it and could not believe that Sterlo was praising it so much.
In conclusion, I dont think Sterlo's mind is right just now so dont worry too hard.

I suspect that episode was a result of the recent Australia NZ test where the commentary team kept reiterating what a dull boring game it was

These guys are employed by a commercial enterprise to create and sell a product. Telling the consumers that product is boring would not have gone down well with the producers and advertisers

Dugan's amateur attempt at doing a post game bushy was disgraceful.
He really made a meal of it and I'm glad they kept the cameras on him .

The funniest bit about Sterlo not being able to find room for Gal in the team is that he put Beau Scott at lock.

People gave Sterlo too much respect, now he's running with it and expects people to give a f$%k about what he thinks.

I think the media networks have got to Sterlo, especially since he has one foot in each camp.

He said his "controversial" piece and now his show will hopefully get more ratings next week.

He's still the best in the biz.

Daley shouldn't be coach of NSW, however. Ignoring his total inability to coach, his teams are basically a combination of media pics and incumbency.

Gal will be there if uninjured and will do what he always does.

Quite odd from Sterling. Just about the only time in the last 2 years that Gall's selection is totally without question. That is my opinion. Choice of Bird was also odd.

Remember gals in the media and he was asked the question about sterlos team.

He acknowledged sterlo wasn't scathing and he's entitled to his opinion.

I'm not sure what gal was meant to say. Sterlos right? No comment? He didn't go over the top, all good.
