No thanks. No doubting he has the nesscary business acumen and passion for the game but the whole 'independent' part will disqualify him everytime.

I don’t think Turvey was roaring success as CEO of the Dogs. The Independent Commission shouldn’t have any problems finding very smart business people who have a love of Rugby League,

Why aren't we hearing more about the Independent Commission? Given the Storm fiasco, Folau going to AFL etc, the signs are there that unless we get this up and running soon, we will be left behind.

C'mon NRL, start getting this happen now! Time for some good news for the game off the field.

How would a new name for the administration change any of those things?

Do you feel the game is moving forward? The games needs a review, but the current admin look like they are sitting on there hands. Once one change is made, like the Commission being up and running, it allows for more changes to be put forward like the Salary Cap being reworked to allow team concessions for player development, and one club players.

Not to mention getting News Ltd out of the decision process before the next round of TV rights will help a lot for the future of the game, as the next TV rights are crucial to the future of the game.

"We must grow the pie first"

The pie should have already been grown by now David.

It's time for your mob to ship out and to give someone, without massive conflicts of interest, a go.

The game has stagnated since the mid 90's.

Get rid of News Ltd sure. But don't adopt their model to do it.

They want out - then let them leave. No terms.
