regular friday night footy is one thing. it's a thing for television.

semi finals & grand finals are another thing altogether. play them during the day. surely the nrl has regained enough confidence in their product to dictate when games will be held. especially the finals series. finals night games are not family friendly. i can't recall ever having a bbq to correspond with a night game.

tell 'em go & have a circle jerk & give us day games during the finals again.

I really do miss sunday finals footy and in particular the Grand Final. Brisbane are now in the Grand Final and are going to have a fair portion of Queensland right in behind them and I believe that they don't have a public holiday the next day like the Sydneysiders.

On this side of the ditch we'll have to wait till 10pm to kick-off and I've had to take anual leave for the monday afterwards just so I don't turn up to work hungover and wasted the next day.

I feel a petition coming on.

The celebrations at Broncos leagues club win or lose will be flat compared to years gone by simply because people have to work the next day.

I like Saturday night and Sunday arvos for finals in weeks 2 and 3. The Friday night decision was one of the worst ever. Heads should roll.

I agree, I remember in the afternoon having lunch watching the 2000 grand final and just before the game I think I rode to my local shops to get the snacks for the game and saw all these posters up on people garages of the team. A night grand final just won't be the same, its the typical NRL ignoring their own supporters and doing what they think is best. Still the Broncos are in the Grand Final that's all that matters

I also realised I have to start work at 7 in the morning, if we can't change the time maybe we should lobby the Government to create a public holliday in Queensland called Rugby League Day

I know from going to the Manly game at Aussie last week that it was really tough to get to, and I left pretty early. People who work would have no chance in getting there with all the traffic. At least the AFL has a later starting time
