Going on tonights performance, be prepared for some floggings over the next 3 weeks. :(

I thought Pig and Firman were great tonight but look for another "lack of effort" excuse from Brownie....

Im sick to death of this "we didnt seem to put the effort in" bullshit that gets fed to us every week by Brown.

Anyway, im one heartbroken Dragons fan tonight.

it shits me more when after a loss Browny says, " the effort was there, and all the boys had a dig but we didnt come away with the win".

I couldnt give two shits what effort etc was there, a loss is a loss

LOL, when you have had your arse reemed as many times as we have this year, you get HIGH on a "dig" from the players... Believe me, They have been few and far between for the Sharks this year... The last month though, they have been "having a dig" and I'm happy with that for this year and now look forward to the next year. ;-)

I know what you mean when we see for week after week the players seemingly coast through games that we should be taking by the scruff of the neck. I thought it was a Farrar problem, and we have improved in this aspect since he was punted, but it's also the players attitude that needs adjusting.

The so-called Super Six have to step up & earn their money - this year we've beaten C*nterbury, Easts & Brisbane but lost to non-entities like Wests Tigers, The Scum & Manly. Doust has been saying that we'd be a top four team "if it wasn't for the injuries" but good teams put bad teams away. The Dragons haven't been doing that.

I think Friday nights game is definently winnable - but it will take an improved effort from the forwards other than Thommo & Bailey, less unforced errors, as well as better attacking options and variation from the halves. The grubber kicks are too predictable.

Cheers,
Ben S.
