Storm game 8.30pm on nine

Just saw an add for the game during two and a half men tonight, 8.30 pm start time.
Sure beats 12.10am next day.

Pathetic Channel 9! Wonder what this means for the Grand Final regardless of whether or not we are in it?

First final was shown live into Melbourne but the Prelim final isn't? I can't understand channel nine. Called them yesterday and got some piss-weak excuse that since we are an AFL state that we don't get live NRL and that other programs are more important. Disgracefull.

Other programs like what? take the lead and white chicks?
channel 9 need to be boycotted, I dont watch anything on nine besides their sh*tty coverage of the NRL anyway.

Exactly, two lame movies instead of telecasting the game. It's all about ratings. I know Brian Waldron had spoken to Eddie McGuire (when he was head of nine) over the lack of coverage from Channel nine but it didn't seem to do any good.

Also spoke to Storm yesterday about doing the live feed into Docklands as they did for the Broncos game, but since it will be only a 40 minute delay there's no point. Plus nine charge Storm for the live feed, bloody hell channel nine are dogs.

lol yet channel 7 shows afl finals live and sydney regular season games

channel 9 should give the r ights to sbs to play live and they shouldnt charge them for it since they dont bloody use it

Why on earth do they show the only final played in Melbourne LIVE but delay the ones played interstate?

8:30 is still not good enough when there isn't any AFL on (and VFL wont rate), so there goes that excuse.

Channel 9 are the biggest pack of wankers when it comes to NRL coverage in Melbourne.
They constantly play dodge movies and repeats of old past it tv programs instead of the Melbourne Storm games live.
If the NRL are serious about making a good go of having an NRL team down here they need to insure all Storm games are shown live, as well as origin games, tests and all finals.

The blame lies with the NRL and not contracting the live feeds.....its a bloody ridiculous situation in a "National" sport....I can't understand where FOXTEL sit on this issue.

I will obvioulsy have to go an live on Mars until 8.30 tonight.
